Data analysis is an indispensable and crucial position for our growth. We strive to enhance our services by leveraging the insights gained from the vast amounts of data accumulated daily, in order to provide a convenient and secure payment experience for our users.

Main Responsibilities

Track and analyze impact of launched projects using Looker Studio Dashboard
Help product managers validate their ideas with data
Build views and tables on Bigquery using SQL to organize datasets
Provide business recommendations to find insights from data based on an understanding of credit card business
Maintain dashboards for key business metrics and communicate to stakeholders on a regular basis

Required Qualifications

At least 3 years of analytical experience with SQL
Ability to communicate analytical outputs as valuable outcomes to stakeholders
English language in message communication (>= Communication Level English)
Business level of Japanese language in communication (>= JLPT N1)

Preferred Qualifications

Track record of working in a very fast paced environment or a startup
Worked with a Product Manager to propose business recommendation
Experience in building data warehouses/data marts
Ownership, willingness to work hard, and fearlessness to move forward
Experience promoting a data-driven culture within a company

Engineer Interview Process
PayPay Card's Hiring process are as below:
- Application Review (English CV is required)
- Coding Test or Take Home Assignment (only applied to required positions)

Remote Work
PayPay Card Engineering Team (depending on positions) has a full remote working style that allows you to live anywhere in Japan. There may be times you are asked to come to the office for team building and other activities. However, as long as you are living in Japan, you can generally live and work wherever you want.
