At Money Forward, we develop and provide the B2B SaaS "Money Forward Cloud." Among these services, the cloud accounting service has achieved significant growth in the market of accounting service cloud accounting. The accounting service holds the potential to support and accelerate users' businesses by automating and streamlining many tasks.
To balance the evolution and stable operation of the product, we are at a phase where we need someone to lead the frontend technology of the product. We are looking for someone who can handle the increasing frontend tasks with high quality and lead the team with frontend technology.
There are many technical challenges in a product that has been in operation for many years, and you can contribute to solving these technical issues and modernizing through engineering. Would you like to take on the challenge of improving the product and system with your technical skills?
Responsibility
You will be involved in frontend development for the accounting domain product of the business-oriented cloud service "Money Forward Cloud Accounting."
While focusing on frontend technology, we expect you to demonstrate shared leadership to provide the optimal user experience and be involved in product development.
Money Forward Cloud is a service that some users use continuously for about 8 hours a day. Improving operability and response can significantly enhance the user experience. To provide a high user experience with few bugs, you will pursue highly maintainable implementations, optimal designs, and detailed mutual reviews.
Currently, the main technologies we use are React and TypeScript. You will also make frontend modifications within Ruby on Rails.
Qualifications
All of the following are required:
- Over 3 years of development experience with React and TypeScript
- Development experience using HTML / CSS / JavaScript
- Experience in team development with 5 or more members using code reviews
- Development experience using CI/CD
- Product development experience in a team involving other professions such as product managers and designers
- Development experience in an environment using webpack
Nice-to-have
- Knowledge of the latest CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks
- Frontend development experience on Ruby on Rails
- Experience as a tech lead or team leader
Language Requirement
- Japanese: Daily conversation level required
- English: Equivalent to TOEIC 700 points or higher
If you have other qualifications or experiences that demonstrate your English proficiency, please consult with us. Examples: Eiken Pre-1st Grade, Eiken 2nd Grade (Eiken CSE score 1950 or higher), TOEFL iBT 60 or higher, IELTS 5.0 or higher, Cambridge English Exam FCE, etc.
Other qualifications or experiences that demonstrate English proficiency are subject to consultation.
If you do not have a qualification equivalent to TOEIC 700 points or higher, you will be required to take a test specified by our company during the selection process (generally assumed after the first interview).

Salary
6.4-11 million JPY annually
Location
Location: Tokyo, Japan.
Remote work: Hybrid/Partial remote with one day of in-office work per week.
