Summary:

Build and operate a quality assurance system in a global organization and contribute to the improvement of software product quality. Take on a wide range of responsibilities such as planning and designing test plans for development projects, conducting quality verification tests on deliverables, selecting processes, techniques, and tools related to quality assurance, planning and executing test strategies, and managing global QA teams.

 

Responsibilities:

• Planning and designing test plans for development projects
• Conducting quality verification tests on deliverables, making release decisions and providing improvement instructions to the development team
• Selecting processes, techniques, and tools related to quality assurance for the entire group, including overseas subsidiaries, planning test strategies and implementing them on the ground
• Identifying bottlenecks in quality improvement and considering and implementing solutions (improving development processes in cooperation with PM/PMO)
• Global QA team management for Japanese and offshore sides

• Front-end: Vue.js, React, jQuery

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance from the upstream test process
• Experience in testing web systems or apps
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in quality analysis and automation testing
• 2+ years of management or team leader experience

 

Additional Skills:

• Experience in web system development (PHP is particularly desirable)
• Experience in project management and process assessment
• Experience in building CI/CD using GitHub Actions or similar tools
• JSTQB Foundation Level or higher certification
