At the company level, Japanese is the most predominant. For developers, being able to have limited social conversations and understand basic commands in Japanese is usually enough.

Porters sponsors work visas, but only for candidates already living in Japan. They're not able to sponsor visas for those living abroad.

Porters offers 10 days of paid leave, with subsequent increases according to Japan's labor laws. They're also off on all public holidays, and they have 3 days of summer vacation as well as year-end company holidays.

Porters supports full remote work.

This means that employees are free to work from home or from the office, and they will continue this policy even once COVID-19 is no longer an issue.

You can live wherever you want in Japan as long as it's within a 2 hour commute from the Office.

Porters has an 8-hour work day. A typical schedule is 9:00 AM to 6:00PM with at least a 1 hour break.
