Commmune’s language policy depends on the position required. They do not require Japanese skills for developers. However, being able to speak Japanese is a plus as they still have many team members who cannot speak English.

Commmune offers 15 days of paid leave and 10 days of sick leave in addition to the public holidays in Japan. The first 5 days of PTO and sick days are awarded when you join, with the remaining 10 days of paid leave awarded after 6 months at the company.

Commmune allows full remote work from anywhere in Japan. But they also have an optional “office work day” every Friday — members can choose their own work style.

Commmune offers a flex-time schedule with core time of 11:00-16:00 and a 1-hour lunch break.
