Colorkrew's vision is to become a visionary company that makes work fun for the whole world.

They’re building several in-house products such as Colorkrew Biz, which is a business concierge service that solves administrative issues using QR and authentication technologies, and Goalous, a social network for companies that focus on managing company goals like OKRs.

They also do consulting work across a wide variety of areas such as cloud integration, marketing and promotion, payments, server architecture and more. Colorkrew’s development team is made up of talented people from many different countries, and they maintain a vibrant, international environment. It’s also one of the first companies in Japan to adopt a truly flat hierarchy, eliminating all job titles and departments in order to maximize the impact of each individual. At Colorkrew, they have a culture that values employee autonomy, and flexibility.

They want their employees to be able to do their best work, so Colorkrew allows remote work, as well as “20% time” as long as you complete your scheduled work. They also have some great benefits. Thanks to their supportive company culture that fosters growth and teamwork, the average tenure of their engineers is about 5 years, which is much longer than most tech companies in Japan. They also hire new graduates and interns to work on their engineering team, which is relatively rare for companies hiring non-Japanese engineers and candidates from abroad (most companies limit their overseas hiring to more experienced positions). Japanese Language Policy
If you can communicate actively as necessary to complete your work, you don’t need Japanese skills. Colorkrew is becoming an international company, but there are still a lot of employees working there that can’t speak English, so the more Japanese you know the better.
Visa Sponsorship
Colorkrew sponsors visas for international candidates, and will prepare the necessary documents for submission to integration.
Paid Leave
- Two days off per week (Saturday and Sunday), Japanese national holidays, New Year's vacation

Colorkrew implements day a mixture of remote and in-office work, with most members coming to the office 2 days per week.

In general, Colorkrew is very flexible about remote work, allowing anyone to work remotely.
Work style
- Flex time (core hours 10:00-14:00, 60 minute lunch)

Colorkrew's model is super flat. Positions: none. Hierarchy: none. Colorkrew has no use for positions that are only about managing other people. There is no need to be chained to one department.

Parents and Family
We have maternity leave, maternity leave for spouses, and family care leave which employees can use to take care of their children when they are in need. We also give congratulatory money when they have a child.

Employees can bring their children to work when necessary. Note that they don’t have a day care system, they’re just flexible with allowing employees to bring their children to work when circumstances require it.

Colorkrew also has a culture of taking maternity/paternity leave when children are born, as well as flexible remote work and flex time for new parents.
