Gitlab is a 100% remote-only company that's been known to hire developers living in Japan. They're building a platform for hosting code online and they pay quite well. They don't require Japanese, but you do need to have a visa that will allow you to work remotely for a non-Japanese company (spouse visa, PR etc).
